At the forefront of Brazil’s range of good news regarding dance music, 26 year-old Bruno Balbino has quickly emerged as one of Sao Paulo’s most notable techno talents, where he constantly pulls gigs at legendary clubs such as Lov.e, A Loca and D-Edge.
Colombia’s Love Parade also made sure to invite Bruno to every single edition of the event, as well as 2004’s I Love Techno festival in Caracas - Venezuela and Guayaquil and Quito - Equador. Cited as the best Love Parade DJ by Bogot· newspapers, he headed to every main city in Colombia to perform, from MedellÌn to Cali to Bucaramanga, from Pereira to Manizales to Cartagena and Armenia.
Widely renowned as a must-see DJ in South America, Bruno has been spinning for almost ten years and holds an ever-growing schedule. Spanish and German crowds also got a chance to check out Bruno’s skills during his debut in Europe, where in played at spots such as the celebrated Achtermai club, in Chemnitz, and also in Stuttgart, Riesa, Dobeln and at Le Club, in Santiago de Compostela.
Bruno has also been named one of the few finalists at Heineken Thirst, a very much respected local DJ championship. Having shared decks with icons such as Dj Dan, Max Graham, Eddie Halliwel, Bad Boy Bill, Hatiras, Stanny Franssen, Chris Liberator, Westbam, Dr. Motte, Monika Kruse, Angel Alanis and many others, Bruno keeps together the best latin’s charismatic vein has to offer: an infectious smile and boatloads of enthusiasm, brightening up the most gloomy of places.
Actually living in London Bruno has already played at parties like Tilted Disco, Closer, Stand Out London and clubs such as The Egg, Hidden, Platinum Bar . Go for him.
